Île Vierge & Aber Wrac’h

Île Vierge & Aber Wrac’h

Île Vierge lighthouse - Phare de l’Île Vierge

Leaving the Île Vierge island and its lighthouse to go towards the mouth of the Wrac’h river, the water is shallow and there are rocks close to the hull of the boat.

Stagadon island has two small sand beaches and is a popular picnic destination for people with boats or kayaks.

Getting closer to the river and its harbour, Wrac’h island features a small house and a red and white daymark.

Upriver from the harbour, more ships were moored along the river, including the Chien vert (green dog) we saw during Brest 2008.
